Brother Marcus Emebo

Bro. Marcus Eugene Emebo was born in 1985 and raised in Houston, Texas. His father, an entrepreneur, is of Nigerian descent and his mother, a registered nurse, hails from Lafayette, Louisiana. He is the middle child of three brothers.

Bro. Emebo attended undergrad at Morehouse College where he was initiated into the fraternity by way of the Alpha Rho Chapter in the fall of 2004 (#5, Imperious 20). He graduated college in 2007 with a bachelor of science degree in biology, after which he pursued a career in medicine. He earned his MD/MPH degree at University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio School of Medicine in 2011, and he completed emergency medicine residency training at the John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois in 2015. For the past 7 years he's practiced as a board-certified emergency physician at hospitals in the Chicago south suburbs and northwest Indiana. He currently splits his time at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, Illinois and UChicago Ingalls Memorial in Harvey, Illinois.

Bro. Emebo has been married for almost 10 years to the love of his life and biggest supporter Michelle Bradley Emebo, who he met in college. They have a 7-year old daughter named Sarai Emebo. Bro. Emebo and his family currently reside in Tinley Park, Illinois.
